It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Halstead of Amenia, New York, born in Sharon, Connecticut, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charles F. Flannery and Emily Orton; her former life partner Donald Catucci; her husband Howard A. Halstead; her children, Christine M. Dick (Tom) of Ulster Park, Carol A. Ahmed (David) of Newark, Charles H. Halstead (Jennie) of Barrington and Colleen F. Reilly (Jim) of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Thomas A. Dick (Christine) of Rochester, NH, Danielle M. Wayman (Cliff) of Saugerties, NY, Emily E. Tenbrock (Ted) of Connelly, NY, Sarah Ahmed and Finn; her great grandchildren, Coraline, Penelope, Kingston of Rochester, NH, Riley, Sadie of Saugerties, NY, Brody and Conor; her siblings, Madelina Bator (George) and Giaccomo Catucci; her cousin Anna May Hess; her sister Katherine Sherfinski; and her aunts, Elizabeth, Betty and Bet. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
She also served as a volunteer at church functions and in the community in the following: President of Mother's Club, PTO, St. Anthony's Feast, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, and Mediation Center.
