John Rooney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2018, at the age of 89, John Rooney (Amenia, New York), born in Norwalk, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Rooney to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Betty; his son Dennis Rooney; his parents, Frederick Rooney and Mary Rooney; and also, Ben Thompson and Margaret Thompson.

He is survived by : his children, Kevin Rooney, Maureen Rooney, Carol Rooney Cummings and Michael Rooney; his grandchildren, Kerry Rooney, Daire Rooney Corcoran, Caitrin Rooney Harney, Brendan Rooney, Kealan Rooney, John Rooney, Adelaide Rooney, Siobhan Rooney, Sean Rooney and Darragh Rooney; his stepgrandchildren, Joad Bowman and Arianne Miller; his brother Terence Rooney of Norwalk, CT; his sister-in-law Lois Ann Rooney of Virginia Beach, VA; his sister Margaret Ann Rooney Scanlon of Norwalk, CT; and his siblings-in-law, James Scanlon, Francis "Buddy" Marsden, Doris Marsden and Donna Rooney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and friends.
