In the vast expanse of eternity, Giovanni shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Giovanni farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Vittorio (Johnny). He is survived by: his daughter Alexis; his mother Maria; and his siblings, Michael (Kristy), Anthony (Mascia), Tina (Alex) and Patrizio.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (67 Broadway, Amityville, NY 11701). A prayer will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 7:15 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 9:30 PM. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
