It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Quackenbush of Amsterdam, New York, born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Clute and Emily Clute (Mezza); her stepmother Marilyn Clute; her daughter Rona Quackenbush; and her brother Martin Clute.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Canizzaro and Amy Quackenbush; her grandchildren, Brandon Canizzaro and Ronay Pagan; and her siblings, Carol Allen, Nancy Demagistris, Larry Stewart, Susan Burlett, Patty Clute, Albert Clute, Richard Clute and James Clute. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19, all attendees are required to wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines. Interment services will be held privately for the family at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Route 29, Johnstown, New York, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved daughter.
