It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara K. Mead (Amsterdam, New York), born in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Butt and Kathryn McGlaughlin Butt; and her husband Ronald J. Mead. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Mead (Laurie) of Amsterdam and Eric Mead (Sandy) of Amsterdam; her grandchildren, Emily, Cole, Madison, Kylee and Katie Mead; and her siblings, Thomas Butt (Maryann) of Scotia, NY and Diana Gillig (Robert) of Delaware. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
