He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Filanova and Teresa Cosentino Filanova; and his sisters, Carmella Sinicropi, Catherine Sinicropi Gallucio, Lucia Dunia, Vincenza Votano and Maria Macri.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Cartisano; his children, Teresa and Dr. Vincent; his grandchildren, Robert, Christopher Hayes, Gavrielle, Matthiew, Vittoria, Zacchary and Kammeron Filanova; and his brother Vincent Siciliano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
