It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Paton of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Paton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominick Bursese and Edith DiGennaro Bursese; her husband Kay; her sisters, Zina of Albany and Rachel Minisci of Cobleskill; and her son Donald J. Paton of Amsterdam.
She is survived by: her former husband William H. Paton; and her children, Kathleen Purtell of Hagaman, Patricia Booth of South Carolina and William "Billy" Paton Jr. of Amsterdam. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
