It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugenio Ortiz Borrero (Amsterdam, New York), who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Ortiz and Maria Magdalena Borrero; and his wife Aida. He is survived by: his children, Eugenio Jr., Luz, Maria M. Maria J. Israel, Ricardo, Marisol, Jesus and Haydee. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
