He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Braender and Emily Braender (Borntrager); and his brothers, Karl and Fred Braender. He is survived by: his wife Susan C. Braender (Batease) of Amsterdam; his sons, George Jr. of Amsterdam, Mark A. Demitraszek (Amanda) of Ravena and Anthony Demitraszek Jr. (Stephanie) of Mayfield; his stepdaughter Mildred Gentile of Amsterdam; his sister Mary Lou Flesh (Stephen) of Arizona; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Mabie, Tyler Braender, Allison Demitraszek, Katelynn, Mark and Kaylie. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
