Gilberto Velez Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2021, at the age of 83, Gilberto Velez of Amsterdam, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilberto Velez to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Velez and Maria Luisa Velez; and his siblings, Anna Ruiz, Lionel Velez and Idalia Luciano.
He is survived by: his wife Lelis Gotay; his daughters, Lucy Velez of Connecticut, Lynn Gotay of Tennessee, Maria Ivette Loghry of Nevada and Kathy Velez of Connecticut; and his siblings, Gloria Cruz of Connecticut, Milta Velez of Puerto Rico, Maggie Ruiz of Connecticut, Edith Ruiz of Connecticut, Rafael Ruiz of Connecticut and Felicita Rivera of Amsterdam. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required at all services.
