Glenn M. Nixon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn M. Nixon (Amsterdam, New York), who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenn M. Nixon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley E. Nixon and Zola V. Smith Nixon; and his brothers, Darrel and Nolan Nixon. He is survived by: his children, Glenn M. Nixon, Phyllis Campo (Ralph) of Clover, SC. and Deborah Frascatore (Gregg) of Gloversville, NY.; his sisters, Merna Jackson of Ohio and Kerry Laird of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Campo, Joseph Campo, Dominic Campo, Nathan Frascatore, Taylor Frascatore and Leah Frascatore. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riley Mortuary (110 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
