She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Krygowski and Marcella Sumislawski Krygowski; her former spouse Bennie Batvinskas; her husband Frank J. Kowalik; and her siblings, Marion Tambasco, Helen Curran, Ann Check, Clem Krygowski, Violet Sliva and Violet Flanagan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
