She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dake and Mary Dake (Edwards). She is survived by: her husband David W. Tarshis Jr. of Amsterdam; her children, Cheryle Russell of Boger, TX, Jody Tarshis of Clifton Park, NY, Shelley Tripp of Dubuque, IA, Cynthia Conover of Springville, NY, Robyn Fremont of Depew, NY and David W. Tarshis III of Buffalo, NY; and her siblings, Donald Dake (Cynthia) of Bryson City, NC, Violet Fallone of Fonda, NY and Jean Miller of Sheldon, IA. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
