He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgiana Chan and Kenneth Chan; and his brother Kale Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Oliver; his son Tristan; his siblings, Gwen Carpenter (Lance), Randy Gilbert (Cathy), Janine Galindo (Juan), Hans Chan (Jeannie) and Dieter Chan (Linda); his brother-in-law Gregory Oliver (Amy); and his mother-in-law Kay Oliver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
