She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rogers and Kamila Smitko Rogers (Rogozinski). She is survived by: her brother Joe; her husband H. Ralph Niemietz; her children, Eric Niemietz (Linda McCann) of Saratoga, NY and Deborah Niemietz-Castillo (Gaspar) of Albany, NY; her sister-in-law Ginny; her stepgranddaughter Angela (Tunde); her stepgreat-grandchild Aramide; and her niece Linda Blaha. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Cranesville Volunteer Fire Department.
