It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Quackenbush (Amsterdam, New York), who passed away on August 12, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Hyatt and Margaret Trackson Hyatt; her son Daniel P. Quackenbush; and her siblings, Leonard Hyatt and Eileen Hyatt Dean.
She is survived by: her spouse Hazlett J. Quackenbush; her children, Katherine Quackenbush Blair (Michael) of Troy, NY, Lawrence J. Quackenbush (Chuck Hansen) of Albany, NY, Martin A. Quackenbush (Linda) of Niskayuna, NY, Patricia M. Quackenbush (Debra Boone) of Virginia, Roberta L. Trench (Walter) of Florida, Robert J. Quackenbush of Amsterdam and William E. Quackenbush of Amsterdam; and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Joseph, Katie, James, Kayla, Lauren, Jennie, Jared Nicole, Christina, Melissa, Martin, Sean, Stephen and Tiffany. She is also survived by Fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Amsterdam C/O the funeral home.
