She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Carleton and Laura Carleton (Wagner); her husband George Lazarou of Amsterdam; her sons, Peter and Thomas Lazarou; her siblings, Nancy F. Carleton and Franklin C. Carleton; and her siblings-in-law, Paul, James, Costa, Aristotle "Dolly" Lazarou and Christine Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lazarou (Brenda) of Amsterdam, Richard Lazarou (Debbie) of Houston, TX, George Lazarou of Phoenix, AZ, Catherine Demars (Joseph) of Amsterdam and Nancy Bernard (Joe Piska) of Amsterdam; and her grandchildren, Koren, Anna, Elizabeth, Erik, Kara, Grace, Richard, Emily, Jacob, Megan, Beth, Michael and Nicholas. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
