He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville A. Van Hoesen and Edith M. Alkinburgh Van. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Weiderman Van Hoesen; his son Orville E. "Duke" Van; his brothers, James L. Van Hoesen, Sr. (Chris) of Tribes Hill and Kenneth A. Van Hoesen, Sr of Johnstown; and his grandchildren, Tyler Van Hoesen, Charlene Van Hoesen (Lucas Van Hoesen) and Amy Cromp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
