With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oscar L. Porath of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Porath and Irene Boyd; his wife Lynda J. Covey Porath; his brother Robert Porath; his children, Rolinda Porath and Kevin Porath; and his grandson DJ Vitus.

He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Vitus (Don) of Amsterdam; his granddaughter Jessica Lynn Marotta (Jon); his great grandchildren, Dakotah Jeremy Vitus, Kayelani Marquardt, Sierra Tubbs and Nico Marotta; and his great great grandchild Desirae Vitus. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests that no flowers be delivered.
