He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sager and Josephine Vidulich Sager; and his brothers, James, Thomas and Charles Sager.
He is survived by: his children, Richard T. "Rick" Sager (Concetta) of Johnstown, NY and Lisa Newland (Richard) of Amsterdam; his granddaughters, Amanda Nellis (Mark) and Makenzie Baker (Derek); his great grandchildren, Marcus, Payton Nellis and Bentley Baker; and his stepgreat-grandson Tanner Baker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
