He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Gardner and Jane E. Whyland Gardner. He is survived by: his children, Thomas M. Gardner II of Amsterdam, Ladona Webster of Amsterdam and MaKenzie Philo (Stephen) of Gansevoort, NY.; his siblings, James Gardner (Marlene) of Amsterdam, Darlene Blakely (Michael) of Palm City, FL and Linda Bottomley of Johnstown, NY; and his grandchildren, Sabrina and Matthew Webster.
