It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine M. Wakefield (Andover, New York), who passed away on May 17, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ernest Witter and Cassie S. Witter (Stewart); her husband Irving Wakefield, Jr.; her children, John Wakefield (Maryjo) of Ontario, Robert Wakefield (MaryLynn) of Toccoa, Thomas Wakefield of Almond, Mark Wakefield of Almond and Nancy Chapman of Geneseo; her grandchildren, Billy Kiernan (Tim), Holly Brower (Chris), Lisa Sexsmith (David), Paul Chapman (Catie) and Shawn Chapman; her great grandchildren, Maggie Kierman, Sarah Kierman, Ellie Brower, Emily Sexsmith, Abby Sexsmith, Samantha Sexsmith, Blake Chapman, Henry Chapman and Mary Chapman; and her siblings, Franklin Witter, James Witter and Lillian Dickinson. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
