It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Merritt of Apalachin, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Merritt and Mae Merritt; his wife Maureen Furiosi; his sons, Rick Merritt of Raleigh and David Merritt of Binghamton; and his stepchildren, James Furiosi of East Stroudsburg and Cara Clarke (Nicholas) of Burdett. He was also cherished by many friends and family.
