She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard D. Welty; her husband Michael Scarano; her daughter-in-law Shirley Folmar; her sister Shirley VanDerVort; and her great grandchild Harvey Walker.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard D. Welty Jr. (Kathy Layer) of Vestal and Mark S. Scarano (Elisa Previtti) of Endicott; her grandchildren, Seth Welty (Richard Sanabria) of New York City and Monica Welty (Karrie Sides) of Portland; her great grandchildren, Vesta and Olivia; her granddaughter Dana Calandra (Vito); her great grandchildren, Giuilana and Regina; her grandson Nicholas Scarano (Natalise); and her great grandchildren, Brittany and Michaela.
