He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Courtright Lutz; his son Joseph Lutz; and his siblings, John, Leland, Ellis Lutz and Esther Mann.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Panazza of Long Beach, CA, Jeff Lutz (Mary), John Lutz, Mary L. Lutz, Karen Snyder (Michael) of Springfield, OH and Richard Peters (Susan) of Avon, CT; and his brother-in-law Leonard Mann (Sallie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to the Village Chapel Building Fund.
