With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gay Maria Norgren of Ashville, New York, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on July 17, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Robert Johnson and Charlette Jaderstrom Johnson; her husband Ronald G. Norgren; her fiancé Robert "Bob" Ruhlman of Alden, NY; and her brother-in-law Kent Black.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle L. Wissert (Timothy) of Elgin, IL and Andrew T. Norgren of Buffalo, NY; her granddaughter Jordyn N. Wissert of Elgin, IL; her siblings, Lee R. Johnson (Pat) of Jamestown, Richard E. Johnson of Busti, Ronald M. Johnson (Linda) of Troy, OH, William C. Johnson (Cindy) of Diamond Point, NY and Dawn C. Sherer (Bill) of Boulder Junction, WI; and her sister-in-law Beth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings and travel restrictions caused by the COVID19 epidemic, a memorial service to celebrate Gay's life will be held at a later date when family and friends can gather together.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, The Fenton History Center, the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or donate a book to your favorite library.
