He was predeceased by : his mother Elizabeth Powderly. He is survived by : his child Shannon Unger; his pet Rocco; his daughter-in-law Erika Unger; his grandson Ryker Unger; his son-in-law Nicolas Sosa; his grandchildren, Carolina, Enzo, Benicio "Beni" Sosa and Andrew Murrer; his daughter-in-law Mackenzie Murrer; his stepmother Shirley Unger; his siblings, Beth Stevens, Debbie Ruflin, James Messecar and Ray Messecar; and his wife Maggie.
