With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth H. Hopkins (Attica, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on June 16, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Frank Forkl and Marie Nowak; her husband Warner E. Hopkins; her siblings, Mary Hastreiter, Pauline Forkl, Frank Forkl, Francis Yueckstock (Viola), Betty Heissenberger, Norman Forkl and Dorothy Weiner; her sons-in-law, John Warner and Paul Hendel; her children, Judi Best (Don), Doris Warner, Gary Hopkins (Lynne), Donna Zevola (Jim), Diane Hendel and Joan Kulczyk (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Hopkins and Rob Roy Griffith. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bennington Volunteer Fire Company Rescue Squad 1353 RT 354, Attica, NY 14011 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
