He was predeceased by : his wife Dorann O'Neil (Rood); and his sisters, Helen Deja, Mary Vanas, Ruth Lehnis and Dorothy Baker.

He is survived by : his siblings, Margaret Meyer of Corfu, Anne "Totie" Smith of Tonawanda, Francis O'Neil of Batavia, Charles O'Neil (Judith) of Batavia, Edward O'Neil Jr (Sharon) and Marcella Saracini (Anthony) of Batavia; and his grandchildren, Chloe Puschek (Jesse) of East Amherst, Claire Badhorn of Clarence, Chelsey Beck and Cameron Beck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Attica Fire Dept. 11 Water St in Attica.
