He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Diego and Carmella Calverese Diego; and his granddaughter Laura. He is survived by: his significant other Joanne Charles; his children, Scott Diego (Emily), Craig Diego (Theresa), Nick Diego and Denise Diego (Nicole); his grandchildren, Marybeth, Sara, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, Craig Jr., Hannah, Aiden Diego, Josh, Carly and Thomas Passarello; his great grandchild Joshua; his siblings, Patty Frazier, Nicholas Diego of Auburn and Ron Diego (Lori) of Delmar; and his daughter Mary Diego. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to either the SPCA, Hospice of CNY or Saint Alphonsus food pantry.
