It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Gansz of Aurelius, New York, born in Lyons, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Gansz and Carrie Eyer Gansz; and his wife Irma Scott Gansz. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Cass (William II), MaryBeth Pethybridge (Michael), Amy Walowsky (Dennis) and James Gansz (Coreen Flynn); and his close friends, Sarah, David Schott, Bernice and Gary Cunningham. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
