It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen A. Collins-Sweet of Averill Park, New York, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Collins and Catherine Jacks Collins; and her son Jeremy M. "Judd" Sweet. She is survived by: her husband Robert D. Sweet of Averill Park; her daughter Tammy Sweet (Theodore) of Averill Park; her brother Howard "Billy" Collins (Sheron) of Olalla, WA; her daughter-in-law Kasey Alibozek of West Stephentown; her grandchildren, Ian, Evan Merrihew, Emily and Mason Sweet; her friend Mary Dzembo; and her son-in-law James Merrihew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel (2691 NY-43, Averill Park, NY 12018). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
