He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Jeraldine; his children, Marie (Daniel), Nina (Andrew) and James (Janine); his grandchildren, Emily, Christopher, Benjamin, Nicholas and Noelle; and his brother Anthony.

In lieu of flowers, Dominic's family requests that donations be made to the Special Olympics.
