He was predeceased by: his brothers, John "Jack" and Kenneth "Stub" Fitzgerald; and his parents, John Fitzgerald and Myrtle Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Judy Fitzgerald; his children, Scott Fitzgerald (Sally) of Rochester, NY and Kelly Carr (Patrick) of Bellerose Village, NY; his grandchildren, Adam, Mackenzie, Sarah, Jacob, Lucy, Molly and Amy; his sisters, Marleah Kemmerer of Elmira Heights and Eleanor Terwilliger of Erin, NY; and his nephews, David Austin and Gene Austin. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces.
