He was predeceased by: his mother Diane Artemis Cagianese. He is survived by: his great-grandparents, Anastasios Stathopoulo and Epiphone; his wife Eva Cagianese (Lowenstein); his daughters, Sarah Frances Cagianese of Manhattan, Michelle Rose Cagianese of Williamsburg and Brooklyn; his sister Catherine Engel (Christopher Engel); his nephew Matthew Christopher Engel (Adnana Engel) of Chatham, NJ.; his niece Meredith Begley (Engel); his father Dominick Cagianese; his stepmother Gail Cagianese of Baldwin, NY; and also, Bob Cage, Sean Begley of Astoria and Queens.
