He is survived by: his wife Claudette Thompson Pitts; his children, Catherine Sanborn (Scott), Patricia Pitts, Diane Zarnowski (Terry), Stephanie Keeney (Andrew) and James Michael Pitts (Dawn); his grandchildren, Joelle, Rebekah, Mary Zarnowski, Emily and Kathryn Keeney; and his sister Phyllis Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
