It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Shannon Socia of Baldwinsville, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Socia and Lucille Socia (Leamy); and his sisters, Cherie Kalet and Dawn Lawton. He is survived by : his wife Candice Socia; his children, Larry Socia (Ellen), Alex Socia (Shelly), Jacqueline Socia, Vincent Socia (Rosa), Stephan Socia, Kitty Tracy (Don), Emily Keefe (Jim) and Edward Socia; and his brother Clarence "Bud" Socia. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack's memory can be made to Unity Acres, 2290 County Rt 2, Orwell, NY 13426.
