She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Bushnell and Dorothy Bushnell (Winslow); her siblings, Terry Bushnell and Billy Bushnell; and her grandson Jake A. Stala III.

She is survived by : her husband James Sgroi, Sr.; her children, Kim Stala (Jack), Kevin Ferris (Nancy), Timothy Ferris and Jim Sgroi, Jr. (Jennifer); and her brother Thomas Bushnell of Florida. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
