He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Stafford and Margaret Stafford (Austin); his sister Virginia; and his nephew Mark Page. He is survived by : his wife Helen Chase Stafford; his children, Scott A. Stafford (Wendy) of Wake Forest, NC, Jennifer L. Sterbak (Peter) of Baldwinsville and Heather Piper (Jeff) of Cary, NC; his brother Peter Stafford (Kathy); his granddaughters, Bay Stafford, Halle, Alyssa and Morgan Piper; his nephew Peter Stafford, Jr.; his nieces, Holly Stafford and Kim Wilkerson; and his great-niece Paige Whittingham.
