He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond V. Fitzgibbons and Helen R. Fitzgibbons (Tague); and his brothers, John "Jack" Fitzgibbons and James P. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sharon J. Scheiwiller; and his sibling's children, Kathy Tracy (Thomas), Mary Fitzgibbons and John Fitzgibbons (Lori).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home (3541 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (3494 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027).
