She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Tanski and Anne Tanski (Sawczak); her husband Edward; and her siblings, Elizabeth Mills, Walter Tanski, Louis Tanski and Thomas Tanski.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Paul Spurgas (Deborah), David Spurgas (Kimberly) and Sharon D'Agostino (Joseph); her grandchildren, Brooke Cullinan (Ryan), Ashley Armitage (John), Reed D'Agostino, Dr. Morgan Spurgas (Jennifer) and Kalie Spurgas; and her great grandchildren, Kensington, Ashton Cullinan and Maximillion Spurgas.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (400 Saratoga Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery (138 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
