He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Batchelor and Doris Batchelor (Dixon); his wife Carol Batchelor (Dewey); his son John Batchelor, Jr.; his grandsons, Joshua and Nicholas Tracy; and his sisters, Dorothy Elmore (late Noel "Butch") and Shirley Klinkbeil.

He is survived by : his daughters, Denise Hargrave of Prattsburg and Michelle. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
