With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Jay Hodgins (Batavia, New York), born in Basom, New York, who passed away on May 17, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Hodgins and Velma Hodgins; and his sister Mary Hubbard (Hodgins). He is survived by: his wife Mary T Hodgins (Paul); and his children, Joyce Dwyer (John), Daniel (Joan), Robert (Mary Lu) of Alexander, Holley, Janice Spiotta (Paul) of Batavia and Michael of Batavia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Morganville United Church of Christ or Genesee County Volunteers for Animals, 3841 West Main Street Road, Batavia, NY 14020.
