He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. and Stella Potwora, Sr. (Kosiorek); and his siblings, Richard Potwora, Rita Potwora, Dorothy Franasiak, Eleanor Stone and Edward Potwora.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Potwora (Bermingham) of Batavia; his daughter Tracy Murray (Timothy) of Batavia; his granddaughters, Madison and Morgan Murray; his sister Irene Capiello (Roland) of Batavia; and his sister-in-law Maxine Potwora of Batavia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He will be entombed in the Fr. T. Bernard Kelly Mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery and in lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Crossroads House 11 Liberty St. Batavia or a charity of the donor's choice.
