She was predeceased by : her mother Ruth Brierton; and her sister Anne Brierton. She is survived by : her father Peter Brierton (Karen) of Watertown, NY; her children, Lucas Kanik of Corning, Sarah Kanik of San Francisco, CA and Jerred Higbie of Campbell; her siblings, Michael Brierton (Laura) of Chittenango, NY, Robert Brierton of Calcium, NY and Cindy Johnson (T. J.) of Geneseo; and her granddaughter Evelyn Higbie. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Denise's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
