He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen; and his children, Kathleen Hoey and Brenan R. Carey. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (200 E Main St, East Islip, NY 11730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
