He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Bicksler (Leach) and Olen Bicksler; and his siblings, Olen Bicksler Jr. and Beverly Jean Bicksler. He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Bicksler of Bellona, Shirley Miles of Penn Yan and Norma Pelton (Chuck) of Shortsville; and his aunt Margaret Luciano. He is also survived by several cousins and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in memory of Richard to the Humane Society of Yates County, PO Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
