He is survived by : his parents, Claude Frederick and Genevieve Victoria Hirt Woodard; his spouse Mildred A. "Millie" Black; his grandchildren, Kandace S. Caley of Canton, Ohio, John W. Woodard (Marie) of Rushford and Mark S. Woodard (Percillah) of Brockport; and his nieces and nephews, Gerald Woodard (Janet) of Ballston Spa and Dorothy Higby of Olean.
