As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James J. Swain; her son Vincent Palange (Dorothea); her grandsons, Vincent J. Palange and Matthew J. Palange; her sister Doris Rawald; and her sibling's children, Loretta Knote, Caroline Ortiz and Thomas Culkin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home (315 Conklin St, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Calverton National Cemetery.
