He was predeceased by: his parent William J. Ahern of Bethpage, NY.; and his sibling Thomas Ahern. He is survived by: his parent Helen R. Ahern of Bethpage, NY.; and his siblings, Mary K. Looney, William J. Ahern Jr., Jeremiah Ahern, Anne Fulton and Helene Stahl. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, as well as 31 great nieces and nephews, and 13 great-great nieces and nephews.
